The 100-bed facility will be a combined critical illness recovery and inpatient rehabilitation hospital on the RUSH University Medical Center campus. The hospital is slated to open in 2024 and will feature 44 critical illness recovery and 56 inpatient rehabilitation beds.

1000 South Michigan Avenue will be an 800-foot-tall residential apartment tower at the edge of Grant Park in Downtown Chicago. Named 1000M, after its street address, the 74-story glass tower will make a dramatic statement on Chicago’s world-famous skyline. This site will be home to 740 luxury apartments and 80,000 square feet of amenities overlooking Lake Michigan, Grant Park and the Museum Campus.

Embry, a 15-story luxury condominium tower, will rise 207 feet. With 58 condos the property will feature column-free floor plans that incorporate large private terraces, dens, offices, and full-size laundry rooms. Residential amenities will include an indoor and outdoor fitness center, a lounge, a dog run, a spa and multiple landscaped terraces. Embry will also feature a 24-hour door staff and a private garage, providing 78 car parking spaces.

The expansion and renovation of Terminal 5 is the first phase and a key component of the O’Hare 21 program, an effort by the City of Chicago and the airlines to modernize one of the world’s most-traveled airports. It will increase the terminal’s capacity by 25 percent, adding new gates and upgrading existing gate sizes to accommodate the larger aircraft used for international travel.

Park Boulevard Project

Park Boulevard is located on the site of the Stateway Gardens building constructed in 1958. The neighborhood is rich in Chicago history. After Stateway Gardens was torn down after years of neglect, the Park Boulevard project helped restore the community around it by providing an attractive mix of single- and multifamily housing. Park Boulevard IIA consists of two five-story masonry/concrete apartment buildings with 116 units and two six-unit, three-story masonry/wood apartment buildings.

741 N Wells is currently under development in the river north neighborhood of Chicago that officially topped off in February 2023. Once complete, the finished product will rise more than 250 feet in the air and bring a 21-story mixed-use class A tower including 168 residential units and 4,000 square feet of ground floor retail. 17 Multifamily floors will sit above a 2-story parking podium and a ground floor Lobby and Retail level.

Located in the heart of Fulton Market, 166 Aberdeen is an apartment tower under construction in the West Loop. Rising 241 feet, the mixed-use building will produce 224 apartments with ground floor retail space. Units will consist of studios, one-beds, two-beds, and three-bedroom apartments. 70 car parking spaces and 50 bike parking spaces will be provided. The design features a glass tower volume perched atop a brick podium. The tower volume is carved with a recess that makes way for balconies and an outdoor deck, while the glass facade will be broken up by intermittent metal panels. Tenant amenities will include a gym, swimming pool, and coworking space on the third floor, and an outdoor deck resulting from the design will be perched on the 14th floor. With Lendlease as the General Contractor, the full construction is expected to last through the summer of 2023.

The expansion of ICU beds and modernization of existing units. Advocate-Aurora transformed the Condell Medical Center through a multi-phased vertical expansion and renovation project. The 50,700-sf. project includes 26,800-sf. of new space added to the existing 5 West Tower, bringing the total bed count for in-patient medical and surgical units to 34 patient beds, a six-bay dialysis unit, and total renovation of the existing ICU unit. Renovations of the existing 17 bed Intensive Care Units will include modern features and equipment upgrades.
